Error with list.dirs in R kept poping up no matter what I type -
i first developed r script in r version 3.3.1 , r studio 1.0.143, worked fine , r library has build-in function list.dirs(path = direct1, recursive = false) me list directories.
then have downgrade r version 2.1.3 because of compatibility requirement co-workers.the function list.dirs not build-in anymore, had write function list directories. function wrote not related problem later added more for-loops replace necessity of list.dirs().
then no matter type in command, error message kept popping up, have empty script open or without function related list.dirs().
error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive) error in list.dirs(dir, full.names = full.names, recursive = recursive) : unused argument(s) (recursive = recursive)
it annoying see coming time, although can run script normally.
is there method stop error message?
the issue you're seeing should resolved rstudio v1.0.153.
