Can I use 1 slicer on 2 Excel PivotTables which have 1 field in common? -

table contains 3 columns, name, email, region

table b contains 5 columns, name, email, regional, address, number of items purchased

to make awkward, source data 2 tables different , cannot control field names (i.e. can't rename regional region). values in region/regional north, south, east, west, external.

the column want slice on region/regional. actual values in fields on 2 sets of source data same.

can somehow set slice on region/regional field using single slicer?

the examples i've seen have both pivottables appear in pivottable connections form, example shows, don't both.
